The last 7 and 8 of November, 2017, HSM GmbH + Co. KG, the southern Germany based manufacturer of baling presses, PET solutions and document shredders, exhibited its energy-efficient new products at the Empack fair.
The HSM V-Press range combines HSM quality requirements and great cost-efficiency. The performance and durability of these units makes them a cost-effective waste elimination solution. Packaging waste such as cardboard and plastic can be reduced using the standard HSM V-Press 504 model. Thanks to HSM TCS (TorsionControlSystem) technology, the angle of the press ram is constantly monitored in all directions to prevent one-sided overload. This optimises the pressing process, extends service life and ensures high process performance. The machine is controlled and operated by means of a cutting-edge control system featuring a microprocessor, a membrane keyboard and a text screen that displays the status of the machine at all times.
The HSM V-Press 818 plus pro is characterised by low transportation height, and a pressing process that begins automatically upon closing the door. A text screen provides detailed information on the current status of processes and the sliding door closes at the end of the pressing process. The bales can weigh up to 200 kg and are tied by means of 4 polyester wires.
The HSM Profi Pack 425 cardboard perforator was also showcased at the HSM stand at Empack. These units convert bulky used cardboard packaging into malleable, flexible filling materials.
