ACS wins contract for waste treatment plant in Abu Dhabi

Through its subsidiary Intecsa Industrial, the Spanish group, presided over by Florentino Pérez, will build and commission a waste treatment plant in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. The contract is worth €235 million and the plant will be delivered on a turnkey basis.

The contract was awarded by Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company. Work is due to commence in June and is scheduled for completion within a period of 39 months.

The project consists of the design, construction and commissioning of an industrial waste treatment plant in the Ruwais complex, which is located around 250 km from the city of Abu Dhabi.

Intecsa Industrial is currently working on another project for the same client and has completed a further two, one at a refinery in the city of Abu Dhabi and the other in Ruwais.
