NEXT GENERATION COMPRESSED AIR: SERIES 2C SCREW COMPRESSORS
The exceptional versatility of AERZEN compact units make them the ideal solution for any application. Initially designed to compress nitrogen, air and neutral gases, they are also suitable for applications involving special gases, vacuum operations and intake pressure. In his article, we look at next- generation SERIES 2C compressors for more sensitive applications, which require oil-free technology in clean processes, as well as AERZEN’s AERsmart, AERtronic and Webview intelligent control and monitoring systems.
With two series featuring a water or air-cooled design (W = water-cooled, A = air-cooled) and an individual performance capacity and size, AERZEN offers you optimum plant performance. Because it has a higher power requirement, the twostage screw compressor offers energy advantages; thanks to the overlap areas, there is no need to switch to the next size. This ensures optimal use of space and a faster return on investment.
The quality of the conveyed medium can significantly influence the production process and the end product. Therefore, the technology implemented guarantees 100% product purity. AERZEN develops completely oil-free compressed air technology in accordance with the ISO 8573-1 Class 0 Standard. The oil-free procedure is vital for many processes, especially in sensitive areas where safety, reliability and availability have to be guaranteed. Accidental contamination can cause considerable risks, plant downtime and production losses that result in high costs.
