COMSA Renovables and Electra Caldense have entered into a cooperation agreement for the production and marketing of thermal energy from biomass for domestic and industrial use.

In the projects to be undertaken within the framework of the agreement, renewable energy company COMSA Corporación will provide forest biomass for energy recovery, while Electra Caldense will be responsible for the production and subsequent sale of thermal energy.

Under the terms of this agreement, the two companies, both founding members of the Catalonian Biomass Cluster (Clúster de Biomasa de Cataluña), will also undertake turnkey projects that include the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of new thermal energy production facilities.
