Recuwaste, the leading International Congress on the management of waste and resources, will take place in Mataró on October 26 and 27. The conferences and round tables, led by high-level experts, will be complemented by an exhibition of public services machinery, a guided tour of the Maresme Integrated Waste Recovery Centre and the opportunity to visit the Mataró Maresme Circular Park. The event will also feature a space to showcase posters on innovative and inspiring ideas, practices and technologies, with the authors being eligible for the Alfonso Maillo Award.
The countdown to Recuwaste 2021 has begun. On October 26 and 27, those with an interest in sustainable waste and resource management will come together at the Tecnocampus in Mataró (Catalonia) for the leading international congress in the field.
Following the 2020 hiatus due to the pandemic, Recuwaste is back on the scene with a hybrid format combining face-to-face and virtual sessions. The aim is for anyone interested, wherever they may be, to have access to the content of the congress. In fact, the virtual ticket enables participants to attend the sessions live, interact with the speakers and with other attendees via App.With the theme “The (R)evolution of Resources”, the congress is promoted by the Consorcio para el Tratamiento de los Residuos Urbanos del Maresme (Maresme Consortium for Municipal Waste Treatment) in collaboration with the Government of Catalonia, the Catalan Waste Agency and the Barcelona Provincial Council. The event also has the support, amongst other entities, of the Fundació Fórum Ambiental, which is acting as the scientific secretariat.
