TOMRA RECYCLING, THE PRESENT AND FUTURE OF RECYCLING

TOMRA Recycling has been designing and manufacturing sensor-based sorting technologies for the global recycling and waste management sector for over 50 years. With over 7,400 systems installed in over 100 countries, this equipment recovers valuable waste from different streams. TOMRA Recycling promotes the circular economy, optimising and extending the life of materials and waste through prevention, reuse, repair and recycling. Moreover, the company has created its own Circular Economy Division to drive the circular economy through a higher standard of recycling in order to recover materials with a level of quality that enables them to be re-integrated into high-performance finished products.

TOMRA Recycling is part of TOMRA Recycling Solutions, which also develops sensor-based systems for detection, sorting and process analytics for the food and mining sectors. The parent company, TOMRA Systems ASA, was founded in 1972 and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. It has a turnover of €995 million and employs around 4,300 people.
