Arising from the publication of the new legislation on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs (MAGRAMA), Enviro Networking, in conjunction with the FuturENVIRO magazine and in cooperation with the MAGRAMA, will hold a technical conference on April 28 in Madrid. In addition to helping all stakeholders to understand the new obligations arising from the legislation, the event will also showcase the latest treatment and management technologies for this type of waste.
The half-day Conference will be divided into three parts. The first will feature a talk by the MAGRAMA on the new legislation, the second will showcase the latest, leading-edge technical innovations from companies specialising in WEEE management and treatment, and the third part will take the form of a large round table session in which the main public authorities and trade associations involved in the entire WEEE process will discuss the NEW WEEE Legislation: What must we do to ensure implementation of the regulations?
This event is, therefore, aimed at heads of the national state administration, local and regional authorities, trade associations in the waste sectors, distributors, manufacturers, consumers, Integrated Management Systems, waste managers, authorised waste transport companies, facility managers, plant operators, directors of operations, heads of engineering departments, process managers, systems integrators, maintenance and safety technicians, OEMs, installers, engineering companies, consultancy practices, graduates and other professionals working in the WEEE sector.
