This year, the Spanish Biomass Association (AVEBIOM) and the Spanish Biomass Association (AEBIG) are launching a double Innovation Award, for bioenergy and renewable gas. The deadline for submissions is June 31 and the awards ceremony will take place in Valladolid in September during Expobiomasa and the 1st Renewable Gas Exhibition.
AVEBIOM and AEBIG are organising this call for proposals, which seeks to promote innovation in the bioenergy sector by bringing together the most comprehensive and varied exhibition of technological innovations in the fields of solid biomass and renewable gas.
The 8th edition of the Expobiomasa Innovation Awards, which has distributed 85,000 euros in prizes since 2006, will run in parallel to the 1st Renewable Gas Exhibition Innovation Awards, which are open to all professionals, companies, and public or private entities in the renewable gas sector with innovative projects, products or services. Providing this type of recognition to initiatives boosts the sector and contributes to its economic development. Two first prizes and four runners-up prizes of €2,000 and €500 respectively will be awarded in this double call for proposals.
