Salher presents its latest innovations at IFAT Munich 2016

As major player in the water treatment sector, Salher presents its latest MBR and sludge treatments innovations.

Salher exhibits at IFAT 2016, the world’s Leading Trade Fair for Water Management, held from May  30  to June 3 at München Messe, in Munich in order to present its latest innovations. They will be located at the Hall A3, stand n. 301.

The one phase MBR supply a high-quality treated water. The challenge of our R&D department was to optimize the cleaning system to extend membranes life (up to 10 years) and reduce the cost of consumables (cleaning reagents).

Salher provides custom-made solutions in accordance with customer needs and requirements. For small treatment lines, Salher manufactures prefabricated equipments and modular membranes systems.

The plant control is realized by a remote control and Scada board.Picture 3 : Sludge dehydration system – Filsa

Sludge treatment solutions

Dehydration by filter bags: FILSA

This process is suitable for dehydration of sludge issued from small and medium treatment plants. It was introduced as standard equipment:

– Regulation of the inlet sludge flow for each bag.

– Closure device for a safe and clean bags removal.

– Automation of the warning for clogging and stop.Picture 4 : Sludge dehydration system –Filter Press

Dehydration through pressure: FILTER PRESS

This technology performs the dehydration applying pressure on a filtering media and can reach up to 50% dryness. The equipment operation is fully automated. To collect the sludge cakes produced, there is a collecting trolley below the structure, for easy transport and removal. Supervision by operators is minimal.
