Environmental group, Odournet, appoints Simon Rützel-Grünberg as new CEO

Simon Rützel-Grünberg takes over as CEO at Odournet Group, the multinational sensory sciences and environmental odours consultants. Founder Ton van Harreveld steps down after 25 years and will continue as board member and Chief Innovation Officer. Co-founder Frans Vossen leaves the board to focus on senior consultant development and the development of major corporate accounts. These steps consolidate the environmental Odournet Group’s transformation from a startup to a global corporate group with new offices in India and Brazil.

In other news, Odournet has been selected from more than 350 applications by the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Smart Cities and Communities to play an important role in the priority “Citizen Focus” area of smart solutions, best practices and project ideas to solve problems such as air pollution.
