The objective of the course entitled “Specialist in Desalination and Reuse of Water” is to provide professionals and graduates with the necessary scientific and technical training to enable them to solve problems of water scarcity through the desalination of brackish water and seawater, and the reuse of wastewater.

Mode: online. The online course is complemented by a period of face-to-face training including visits to desalination plants, wastewater treatment plants and water reuse systems (an equivalent training experience undergone by students in their country of origin may be recognised in lieu of this period)

Access and admission: participants must have a Higher Education qualification.

Pre-registration: September 1st 2016 – January 16th 2017

Matriculation: December 20th 2016 – January 20th 2017

Duration: 30 ECTS credits, equivalent to 300 hours of class.

Course period: January to June 2017, provided that a minimum of 20 students register for the course.

Fee: €2,100, payable in 3 instalments of equal amounts.

Grants: 4 grants to the value of 50% of fees payable are on offer

Recovery of fees paid by enterprises: a company or organisation can pay the fees of one or more students, with the possibility of recovering fees through subsidies granted by the Fundación Tripartita in Spain.
